PVSEC offers a wide range of services, some of which are listed below. Our primary diagnostic tool is the knowledge and expertise our doctors possess from advanced training and experience with a wide variety of critical, complicated and chronic diseases. We attempt to provide both a diagnosis and treatment as quickly and efficiently as possible. As a result, early referral of non-routine cases to PVSEC often saves both money and precious time.

Diagnosis and management of diseases, including:

- Congenital and Acquired Heart Murmurs

- Feline Aortic Thromboembolism (Saddle Thrombus)

- echocardiography (2D, M-Mode, Color and Spectral Doppler)
- echo contrast studies
- 24-hour wireless telemetry
- ECG (outpatient and inpatient monitoring, 24-hour Holter and event monitoring)
- invasive and non-invasive blood pressure readings
- radiographic interpretation
With the addition of a fluoroscopic unit, the cardiology service is now able provide more invasive, intervensional cardiac procedures:
- vascular studies
- pacemaker implantation
- balloon valvuloplasty
- PDA occlusion (coming soon!)
The cardiology service also offers cardiology-related procedures, in addition to the management of acute and chronic cardiology cases:
- thoracocentesis
