Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center (PVSEC) Dentistry practice offers a range of expert dentistry procedures to satisfy your pet's advanced oral and dental needs. The state-of-the-art practice features the only board certified veterinary dentist in Western Pennsylvania, Dr. Krista Mendoza.

PVSEC Dentistry welcomes patients on a referral-only basis. Prior to scheduling your pet's appointment, Dr. Mendoza will discuss your pet's history with the referring primary care veterinarian to identify possible dental problems, discuss blood work and any on-going health concerns. Recommended blood work or preliminary procedures will additionally be discussed at this time.

Appointments

Initial consultations and appointments are scheduled for Friday and Saturday mornings, with procedures and surgeries scheduled in the afternoon. Patients are generally able to return home the same day as their consultations and procedures.

Fees

Consultations and appointments with PVSEC Dentistry require a deposit at the time of admission for treatment. Full payment will be due at the time of your pet's discharge. We welcome cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or Care Credit.
